As soon as I log on to Internet Explorer I get the message that the memory used is vry high and that I should close and reopen and then I do ne=ot get this message again. Can anyone tell me what this means and what should I do
Thank you
You don't "log on" to Internet Explorer - you simply launch it. Once there, you may navigate to a website which requires you to log on - is that what you mean...?
Yes that is what I mean I launch Internet Explorer then I get the message coming up and I have not logged on to anything other than a check on my email
If you are on a network you might get a logon request on launch before it allows you out to the WWW, or evn on the network.
Just to say I often get IE using up unreasonable CPU resource on my work PC; I have no idea why. But in my case it isn't right at the start, and closing and opening again tends to clear it for a while. IE seems a strange beast.
Is Norton installed?
What is origin of message? Does it say?
Done a full scan of PC with Antivirus with System Restore turned OFF?
Any toolbars installed?
Look in Add/Remove for any weird toolbars, and remove them if poss.
Scan with Malwarebytes after Antivirus (again, with System Resore turned OFF)
