Famous Historical Places
11 Answers
OK, I'm going to have to hand this quiz in today with 8 answers missing - unless some clever people can help me! I know I've already posted a couple of these.
1) A big bird (eagle?) with a person hanging underneath it, maybe coming in to land (Island?). Is there a famous historical place called Eagle Island?
3) The symbol for a woman (circle with a cross underneath) followed by a picture of a blacksmith/farrier hammering something on an anvil.
5) A picture of a ball (hard to see but it's different colours and could be rubber or even a woollen pom pom) followed by a picture of 2 pairs of hands (one is passing dollar bills to the other).
9) Picture of a long-haired girl in old costume followed by a picture of a (fairytale?) castle with lots of pointed turrets and flags.
14) The letter u in a square followed by a picture of a rocking horse.
16) A picture of a camel followed by GENESIS - MALACHI.
18) £1 £5 £10 £20
26) A picture of 2 witches stirring a cauldron with a full moon and bats, then a C crossed out and T instead (presumably meaning witth or witthes?) then a picture of a yellow face like a ball and it's crying!
That's it - sorry there's so much but any help would be great. Jim
