We are getting between 15 - 30+ 'SPAM' messages coming in every single day without fail. Advertising all sorts, viagra etc. How do we stop them coming in at all. We know we can block certain addresses but these things just keep coming and coming and coming. Its very annoying, especially when it takes ages to get them all through in the first place!

HELP!

I use Mailwasher Pro - it has a register of what is considered spam and will block it even if its the first time that you've ever been sent something from that address.
If you do get spam, you can use the built in "spamcop" facility to remove your name from whichever mailing list you're on and report the spammer to their ISP. This will also help add the spammer to Mailwasher's register.

I'd also suggest using a new email address and never submitting it on any online form ever. For any registration process that requires an email address, use an address that you have created specifically for this that you don't use for anything else and don't mind being spammed.

I rarely get any spam and my hotmail address is visible online all over the place.

Download for free 'Incredimail'.

It has a folder, that all unknown emails go to.  You can check which are wanted and which are spam then delete the bad ones.
It's impossible to stop the spam completely, but keeping your email address secret and avoiding giving your email address to websites will stop new ones targetting you.
Never reply to spam emails, even if they offer 'Unsubscribe'.

Thanks for all the help! Hopefully going to get this sorted ASAP now.

If you are with wanadoo or some other ISP go to there web site and check your mail from there, they will have spam filters in operation, just check over your inbox and go the  spam box to make sure there is nothing of importance delete the spam and then when you open outlook express you will only have what you want.
