Apple iMac Advice please
Looking for Apple iMac help, please. On Friday I inserted a disc that contains 32 photos. It appeared as an icon on my desktop and I opened the disc. Each photo appeared on the left hand side of the screen and to the right of the large image was a vertical display of all the photos on the disc. As you ran the cursor down these smaller photos each one would appear as the large one. After my session I ejected the disc. Try as I might though I just cannot get this view back. I have tried opening Preview but it seems to have no effect. Please can anyone advise – in simple terms! Many thanks

Sounds like the standard view Finder gives when opening a directory containing pictures and using the quickview function (icon that looks like an eye on the toolbar at the top). The quickview gives you a bigger window containing whichever picture is selected and as you scroll down or run the cursor down so each pops up in the window.
Thank you so much for taking time to help me. I have tried both the suggestions. The 'eye' gives me a grey rectangular box and a pic of a blue folder on it and info on the file. (size, no of items and date last modified). Maybe I am not opening it at the right time. AIBags the first part of your advice I had already tried with no luck but the second part, "hold down the option key" at the same time did work. Terrific. Thank you. Have a great evening.
