Nokia 3410, predictive text

Hi, my wife has just acquired a nokia 3410 but cannot turn predictive text ON! We have gone into 'write messages' and then press the hash key but do not get the predictive text symbol in the top left of the screen

Hi toonmilo - I don't have a 3410 but most Nokia's work on the same principle - so here is a run down of what to do and I hope it works!! Let me know!

Go to your Menu, then Messages, press select, select text messages, press select, create message, press select, press options (at the bottom of the screen) go down the list until you see 'Dictionary' press select - you'll then see various languages listed - select English and it will say T9 dictionary on (or something to that effect) - your predictive text should now be working.

Much quicker and easier way.  Go into create message (as above)  and press and hold the options button and it will say either T9 on (predictive text on)  or T9 off (predictive text off)
