I am running the free version of Zone Alarm with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Is there any advantage in doing this or should I delete Zone Alarm ?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Happy New Year to you all.

Cheers.

MSE, in combination with the in-built Windows firewall, is all you need. From time to time, say once a fortnight, run Malwarebytes and you'll be fine.
I'd tend to agree with MR for the average user.

If you are a high risk user (i.e. you download warez or other dodgy downloads) then either ensuring the windows firewall is configured for outbound too, or using a better firewall (such as zone alarm) is advisable.
