I was away for a while and when I tried to watch TV in the sitting room last night, the message was 'no digital reception'. The TV in the kitchen (different aerial) is receiving perfectly. The problem TV is about 6 months old.
I tried retuning, but all I get is analogue (RTE - I'm in N ireland).
Could anyone suggest what the problem is? Could it be the aerial after the recent storms? Do I need the engineer?
Thanks a lot.
It's a big house with 2 separate aerials, one for the front and one for the back. It's the front west-facing one that's connected to the TV that's not working.
Yesterday my channels were having problems. I suspected the transmitter in t he morning, but when I returned in the evening it was still wrong and too dark to see my aerial. This morning all is well again. I'm not sayying that my aerial & lead can not have problems but I suspect the transmitter does on occassion hiccup.
Thanks to you redman and old-
I now have a new digital aerial and about a million channels to choose from, and am ready for some that haven't even gone digital yet (RTE).
