Bookmark toolbar firefox 9

My Firefox 9.0.01 bookmark tool bar has once again stopped appearing for some unknown reason.

I have now removed firefox from my computer and then freshly installed it, yet the bookmark toolbar still fails to appear on start up.

The only way I can make it appear is to click on 'VIEW', then 'TOOLBARS' and then 'CUSTOMIZE' it is only when I then close this window that the toolbar and the bookmark icons appear.

Any ideas please?

When you click on 'VIEW', then 'TOOLBARS', is the item 'BOOKMARKS TOOLBAR' ticked? If not left click on it and the tick should appear. There should be no need to go into 'CUSTOMISE'.

Funny enough, when I loaded firefox this morning the toolbar once again appeared.

Don't know how long it will last though.
