I am working on Firefox and my OS is Windows 7. Usually I have problems with the ad-blocker - it blocks ads okay but it causes problems with some of the sites that I visit.

However over the last few days it has been working brilliantly - not sure why it started working. Could it also be why I am getting no adverts when I am watching TV programmes on ITV player and Demand 5 ?

It is SO nice to watch programmes with some inane adverts popping up every ten minutes or so.

Thanks

If you use a hosts file, you will not need to install ANY ad-blocking add-ons or software at all.

Thanks for the links - they don't appear to be in English (or the mangled version of English that us Scots speak).

It is working fine just now - but should the adverts come back I will have a look at the links again. I just didn't consider that the ad-blocker would zap the adverts on the TV programmes. ;-)
