Why is it I still have to re-tune my TV every morning in order to get ITV1 Channel 4 and Dave.
I can get all the BBC channels but not the others. I tried ringing the help line and I was asked to remove the scart lead and blow on it and then re-tune Has anyone got any ideas ?

Blowing on the SCART Lead would not make any difference. I don't know why they would suggest that.

Do you know how strong the signal is on the channels you need to keep re-tuning? Also do you switch off the Digi Box overnight at the plug?
I have just got Freesat installed, and have been told never to switch the Digibox off at the wall unless there is a lightning storm.
Why are scart leads and set top boxes even being mentioned, the OP said TV!

Although without them stating any information about the make or model of the TV the actual answer is anyones guess.

NO I leave the Digi box on all the time
TV is only 3 or 4 years old. It's a daewoo and digibox is a philips
I know several other people whose second or third TV does the same
Luckily this one is one I usually have on in the background whilst I am on the computer
Are you re-tuning the TV or the Digi-box each day?

If it is the Digi-box then you may want to see if it is set to receive updates automatically in the set-up menu, if not then it will need the software updating manually or set the box to receive updates automatically.
my upstairs one loses the radio every day! tut! but it is old! x
does your TV have a store button after you have tuned in ?
