Has anyone had any problems downloading this program, I dowloaded it earlier and it gave me problems with Internet Explorer which mean't that everytime I clicked on it, i got a message saying that it had encountered a problem and would have to close. Apparently it installs a searchbar called nav, I foolishly left the box ticked for this when I installed it and I think it was this that was conflicting with Internet Explorer. I've uninstalled it now, not sure whether to chance installing it again though, only this time without the Nav toolbar....

Uninstall Ares IMIDIATLY!  It destroyed my computer with Viruses Undeletable which ripped my PC to shreds. I hav to format it soon coz all programs exept Internet Explorer and Msn  And Media player DOnt work. They always get an encountered an error message. If u want a file sharing program use limewire (www.limewire.com) Its 5X faster than any other file sharing program! and its free!

Thanks for that Matt, a friend of mine installed it ok without any problems, but when i installed it I kept getting an error message whenever i tried to access the internet via Internet Explorer. I was thinking of trying to install it again, but in view of what you've just told me I'm not so sure now. It seems like it's all about luck with these types of programs, as some people have nothing but problems once they try to install them, where as others have no problems at all!
