Hi All,
i have just purchased a M-AUDIO interface, and the software that comes with it means I have to to go to university for the next 15 years to be able to operate it. I can just about get to grips with cubase, but that works on windows XP. is there a cubase that works on windows 7, or can any one tell me how to record basic tracks on m-audio?
thanks,
Cubase 6 and Cubase Elements 6 both work with Windows 7 - but they're far from free!
Linux MultiMedia Studio is a widely-praised free alternative which (despite the 'Linux' in its name) runs under all versions of Windows. The download is here:
http://sourceforge.ne...ms/files/lmms/0.4.13/ and you can get the documentation...
