Cannot use photoshop 3

I have been using photoshop cs3 for around 2 years and now a message comes everytime i try to use it saying i must reinstall the product, but when i try it does not even uninstall so i can reinstal it can anyone help

try and uninstall first, via control panel.....does the message give you a reason for problem?
