Homegroup in W7

Hi
I am having trouble "setting up a homegroup" on my network. My main PC, router etc are on my first florr, my new netbook is in the lounge. When trying to "join" the two, and entering the password, I keep getting the message, "password is wrong" - can anybody offer any advice please ??
