ITV+1 ON SKY

My mother has Sky and we were looking for itv+1. On the sky tv guide it says channel 131 but that is not itv+1 on my mothers sky?

Have you tried channel 131. No, you don't have to re-tune.

I'm not sure how new ITV+1 is but has your mother got sky, sky+ or sky+HD? It may be that the channel numbers are different on older sky boxes, I don't know for sure just a guess

Itv1+1 is 131 on my sky plus. In case anyone wants it as I do itv4+1 is also available as an additional channel. Being a scot living in England I also have stv. I watched the Scottish cup final on Sunday on bbc Scotland which is 971 on sky

The plot thickens. My mother does not get channel 131 it says not available. It goes from 130 to 132 why?

You haven't got a Sky subscription which doesn't offer ITV +1

Sorry badly written. You only get ITV +1 if you have a subscription, I am guessing you don't

That sounds odd. I don't have Sky but ITV+1 is available on Freeview, channel 33.

Mother subscribes to a package. On the guide it goes from 130 to 132 but not 131. I have tried to add other channels but with no real success. I thought itv+1 would be a free channel.

Then ring Sky because it should be there. Accrding to that web page, which is from sky, you get all the others but not ITV +1

As far as I can see you cannot get Itv+1 in Scotland. I did not think where my mother lived was important, especially living in a big city but it obviously does. Thank you for replies.

In Scotland you get stv not itv. You have to add itv and itv+1 in other channels

This sort of thing drives me insane as it feels like I am chasing my tail.
Mother lives in Edinburgh and can get itv London but itv+1 which should be on channel 131 she does not get. When I put 131 into sky it says unavailable. Searched on google and it would appear that you cannot get itv+ 1 in Scotland.

Sky have been digital for years and are nothing to do with the digital switchover.
