We have two computers in the house and have installed Virgin Media Broadband (wireless). Somehow, my internet on my PC has gone slow and the other PC doesn't shut down properly ??

The second PC is Windows XP and when you shut down its freezes to the point saying "Windows is shutting down" ? How can I resolve the problem ?

Somehow all this has started kicking off since we installed Virgin Media Broadband :(

The main problem is the other Windows Xp PC that freezes upon shutting down.

Any ideas ?
See what is hogging resources ctrl alt del to display task manager. Search on net for the ones with most memory usage and see if they are needed. Might be starting up automatically. Disable using msconfig. Search to see how to use it. Maybe start in safe mode and do it that way if pc slow.
