OK, so you get a text message from someone whose number is not in your Contacts, you then 'Add contact' from the text message. This is then added to some kind of Contacts list but not the main Contacts list you can scroll/search through.

Help! Do you have to do all the Join Contacts malarkey?

On my Galaxy pro, there is an option to display contacts from phone and/or from sim card - depending on which one you are saving it to, it might be that you are not displaying where it is saving to.. if that makes sense!

press the + sign top left after 'add contact. it will then ask you if you want to save to phone or sim (always choose sim!) and away you go. hth...x
