Mrs MM posted on here using my profile. She decided to join herself but needed her own email addy. that's where the problems started. We are with sky. When I tried to create an additional user I hit a wall. They wanted an email for her, she ain't got one. When I put mine in it said " For security reasons a sky email is not allowed" I feel like I'm banging my head upon a brick wall. Any one got the solution? In easy language please, I'm not computer literate.
Why not just create one of the many free email addresses readily available from such sites as yahoo or gmail? Google either of these and you will find a simple solution.
Can you not go open an account with one of the independent e-mail providers ? That's what I use because when I 'opened' a broadband service account I chose a cheap one that offered no e-mail at the time.
Nibble. I have been trying to create an email addy for her for the last two hours. see my post.
I will try through another provider, as I said I am a thicko when it comes to these things.
Right. I went to email.com, created an account, came back here, registered and was waiting for email to confirm account from AB... still not arrived. I must be thicker than I realise.
I think youm will need to go back to the site you created the email at, login using the email you created and send and receive the emails to that account from there.
They will not come into your sky inbox without more complicated redirection.
Used email.com. Registered with AB. Waited for email and waited and waited. Didn't arrive. Signed up to hotmail, again waited for email, didn't arrive. Have I got B O or what?
Mic,
I seem to remember that you sign up to AB with your 'hotmail' email and AB send an email to your hotmail address with a link to confirm.........or
Have you got a techie friend without B O?
