My Printer will not print text

Hi

I am trying to make a leaflet with a logo at the top of the price list for hairdressing on 1 side of the page (landscape) and Dressmaking allterations on the other side. For some unknown reason to me it will only print the logo pictures. Its not just on this when I try to print a pure text letter etc in word the printer goes through the motions of printing (as if it is) but the page is blank. When I look at the top of the Word page its say Microsoft Word - non commercial use ????? What am I doing wrong, I been trying to work it out all day. I'm ready to throw it through the window. HELP PLEASE.

Hi

Its an Epsom Stylus SX215, and no ive just put in a new black cartridge. I don't thinkits the printer, I fiddled about with changing 1 page to 2 in the columns though I dont see why that would cause a problem.

Ive just checked I know its not the printer because I can get it to copy and print a document with no problem. I just don't know how to get the laptop sorted.

What happens if you try to print a page with just text on and no logos?

In print view it looks like it's suppose to, so I print it but it doesnt print the text only the logos at the top of the the 2 sides of the page. If I try to print a page of just text it shows it in print view but it just doesn't print it out. If I print out a page of a certificate diploma in colour it prints it fine. It just will not print normal text
