Is anyone else having problems with answerbank or is it my laptop?
When I post a question or answer it seems to take ages to register and when I go on to my profile - questions that I have posted don't show

no problems here. If it's the Firefox glitch, try refreshing the page after you've submitted a post
Could be your laptop then. Or your connection.
no problems here granny
we're fine
Which browser are you using. There are issues with Firefox 12.
You have to manually refresh the page before your post shows up.

I'm using firefox but I don't know which one and it keeps 'timing out'
I have just posted a question and it took about 2 minutes to show- in fact I went back a page to see if I had done it right just as it showed (on XP and Chrome)
On FF there is a button to the right of the address window. It's an anitclockwise circular arrow (or an X if it's reloading). Click it once if it's a circle or twice if it's an X.
Hope this hlps.
If you go to help at the top of the page then to About Firefox it will tell you which version you are using.
To find out which version: Top left, click the down arrow next to the word Firefox; select help / about Firefox. A window will pop up telling you which version you have.

Sorry to be such a techno dumbo WyeDyed - but where do I find FF address window?
PS. Timing out does not sound like the issue we're talking about.
The firfox address window will be the one with "http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Qu
estion1134622.html"
written in it at the moment. Probably near the top of the window.
