Hi. can somebody please go onto www.lexmarkprintertest.com, click on the P6250, enter a name & address etc.. and tell me if it works? I've been trying to do the printer test for days now, and each time i click 'continue' after I've filled in my name & address, it just re-loads that page again. Can anyone get it all the way through to the page that says 'thank you..we will be sending you your photo shortly..etc'?

Thanks!

Just tried it and it went all the way through to the "we will be sending you your photo shortly" page with no problems.  Although I think Tony Blair's going to be a bit surprised when the photo arrives at 10 Downing Street!

It sounds like there's a javascript redirect on some of the pages that your browser isn't handling correctly.  Do you have javascript disabled?

Question Author

no, its not disabled. my brother sent a photo to his house using this computer a few weeks ago and it worked, so i thought that it might just be because im using the same computer & you're only allowed 1 per household, but I tried it on my aunt's computer and it still didnt work.

After I tried it on my aunt's computer, we thought that it must be something gone wrong on their website, but it obviously isnt as it worked for you. I'll check the javascript settings again to make sure they haven't been disabled.

...I checked again & my javascript settings are fine.

Does anyone wanna send me the printer test from their computer? (i'll send you my picture of course!) :)

  1. One ther thin which can cause pages to be unexpected reloaded is if cookies are disabled - some sites seem to store your progress and validation in them, so when they're not found (i.e. disabled) it assumes you're at the beginning (again!)
