webcam/microphone

hiya, i have just bought a webcam with a microphone fitted in. It works fine as a webcam. Also, the microphone is working becasue it records on a programme called "Videomail." However, when i try to use it on msn messenger (version 7) it keeps it on mute and wont let me unmute! Has anyone had this problem before and if so how can i get my microphone to work. Thanks

I have the same problem. Exept it says my ISP might not support audio. But it works fine on Yahoo & Aim Messanger.
