I bought an MP3 player, and I installed it according to the instructions, but it doesn't show up in "My Computer", so I can't figure out how to get songs onto it. I know my USB ports work, and the MP3 installs properly, so how do I get the icon to show up in "My Computer"?

What system are you using, if it's XP when you plug in the mp3 player you will see a flash drive named drive e,f,or g.

I am using Windows 98SE...when I tried it on Windows ME, that is how it showed up, but it won't show up on my 98.

If you are using Win98 you will need to install the drivers from the disk that should have been supplied with the mp3 player.

I did install the drivers. I did evrything according to the instructions. I installed the drivers, and they installed properly, then I plugged in the MP3 and the computer recognized it, but it just won't show up as a drive in " My Computer".
