Will this be enough for Photoshop?
5 Answers
The little darling son is starting collage in sept and he would love a netbook/laptop for his birthday next month.
I have a Samsung N145 with an intel atom cpun450 1.67 ghz processor,1 gb ram and a 2.2gb hard drive.
Would this run photoshop sufficiently for him or can anyone recommend a netbook/laptop that would suit better BUT does not cost more than £250.
Much thanks
Aya

Assuming you're wrong about the hard drive and it is larger than that then It would run it, but it wouldn't be a very pleasurable experience doing so.
The CPU is too slow really, it hasn't got enough RAM and the screen size on a netbook wouldn't be very nice to work with while doing photo editing.
£250 is going to be stretching it a little, you'd probably be looking at reconditioned to get something decent for that price.

Yeah, you're absolutely right Chuck.
Just re-read the original posters tech spec for laptop.
I only seen the Intel bit, not the atom bit. A new laptop (modern) required.
This is what Adobe recommends for CS6.
