Searchnu......browser hijack
2 Answers
OK I stupidly installed livid, didn't realise the pile of cack I was getting into anyway it seems to have left behind a hijacker called searchnu. Now I've done a lot of googling and there are several places offereing advice etc but I can't seem to get anything working. has anyone had any experience with this and got shot of it? I have tried restoring back to prior the install but that wouldn't work. I have uninstalled livid but the searchnu hijacker remains. Even norton doesn't work with this. Any help and advice appreciated, thanks.

However, I do forget the details of what checkbox I ticked when I ran that scan, so my advice is follow online instructions. That's the way I sorted my computer out. Sorry I can't be more specific.
