Thickness of photo paper

I cannot get glossy photo paper to go through my printer yet have done so previously. Could it be the paper is too thick? Its Canon, A4 190 g/m and 225 thichness. There is one at 165g/m and only 210 thickness. Should I try it?

check what it says on the box - is it for domestic printers?

190 g/m is too thick for many domestic printers. However as long as you only load it with one sheet at a time you might be OK . The lighter one should be OK
