Babylon has glued itself to my computer after I downloaded a video file converting program- converterlite. I've looked online to try and remove it. I have uninstalled program from the list. I have gone to Firefox add-ons to remove anything there (nothing). I have gone to the babylon search bar (now embedded into Firefox and Google Chrome and Internet Explorer) and typed in about:config, and reset everything with babylon in the title. I've emptied my recycle bin. I've restarted. Nothing works. Has anyone managed to get rid of this successfully? I am so angry that this is somehow not illegal! Thanks!

I'm no expert & don't know if this'll work for the Babylon program, but I've had success with removing other nasties in the past using Revo Uninstaller -

If you're not happy trying that (or if it doesn't work), I'm sure someone else more qualified will be able to help you :-)

Thanks Lie-In. I think I have managed to get it off Firefox by uninstalling program/removing add-ons/typing in about:config into the search bar and resetting (right click) each line with 'babylon' in the title / searching the PC for 'babylon' and deleting any files with that in, emptying the recycle bin/ clearing the cache and finally uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. That said, I think it is still glued into Internet Explorer so that's another job. I'll look at your link- many thanks.
This might be worth looking at.:-
