Ihave a sky hd box, I missed a programme on ITV is there anyway I can get to see it , apart from down loading onto my laptop

You can now connect your Sky box to the internet and download stuff from the internet direct to your Sky box.

The service is called Sky Anyime+ and you can read more about it on the Sky web site.

It does allow you to "catchup" with ITV shnows (and other shows) that you may have missed.
