bios update

my Toshiba laptop has Toshiba tempro on it which looks for up dates to it's bios there is one that i downloaded but then comodo says virus detected
when i disable comodo (the file coming from Toshiba direct, so should be safe) and extract it to a folder it disappears as though even with comodo off its still deleting the extracted file ?
any help with this please
