When I try to share anything or upload anything to facebook all it does is go on my timeline. How do I get it on to my newsfeed?

Your newsfeed doesn't need to show what you've posted (why would that be news to you?)

So I don't get to see what I have shared then? I thought I would have seen them.
Click on your name in the top left... you'll see what you've posted.... it's not news to you.
Why would you need your newsfeed to show what you've posted?.. unless you have a really bad memory it's not going to be "news" to you.
Theres a dropdown box i think...

Or "like" it to draw attention lol x
I post with my eyes shut - then it's a surprise when it arrives in my news feed ...

You have to change who can see it, there's a tiny grey icon on the top right of each thing you post and it is for either just you friends or public, then you share it from your timeline if you want it in your news, you can see other peoples news but unless you share yours it only stays on your timeline,i think,
