downloading music from iPad to computer

Is it possible ( if so how please) to download my music from my iPad to my computer as I will lose it all if I sync with iTunes. Then copy it to iTunes library for downloading to my iPad and iPhone.

I've used it before and it works a treat.

I use iCloud, that does it automatically when you load iTunes up.
