I copied a CD on my laptop and then tried to copy it onto a blank disc without success. I used a CD-RW disc. Mistake???

Old_Geezer you may well have seen a cd of wav files - that is exactly it - a cd of files, not an audio cd. Usually if you put an audio cd in the computer it may show the file extension as .cda
