It certainly seems that way, but alas, you can still download songs - provided, that is, that they are not copyrighted. Audiogalaxy has taken a tough stance in the downloading of copyrighted songs (it doesn't want to go the same way as napster) - For more info, take a look at the audiogalaxy front page.
I started using a new service called blubster last week, it's highly acclaimed by alot of audiogalaxy veterans and Ive found it to be brilliant - really fast! Check out www.blubster.com.
Of course, I've used it purely for legimate reasons - beacuse I would never condone breaking copyright laws. ;)
