Please can anybody advise where I can buy a TVonics DTR replacement remote control for my 95 year old mother who has pressed hers to death

If you're in Suffolk, you may struggle. A big town is more likely to have a TV etc repairer.
Have you tried one of the "universal" remotes?

Try Amazon, apparently there are different models.

Off to Currys or Comet now.
