I know they are a nuisance - I always say no thank you and put down the receiver - but I still feel sorry for them - the poor little sods are trying to earn a living, and at least they are working. Not much of a job, after all. Nasty remarks from their marks, shift work. I wouldn't like to have to do it, although I might if I needed the money badly.
That's a good service, trt, but we pay a small amount p.a. now for the Caller Preference service which we find a lot more efficient - and if any calls get through, the CPS will ring them and arrange for our number to be taken off their lists.
No point in saying no thank you to an automated call. Get calls from Avitas every day. Sometimes pick up without checking the number if dashing in from another room and expecting a call.No idea who the company is and won't waste my time looking it up.
