Pappy Goes Off In Wee Small Hours

One of my lappies shuts down every morning, before I get up.

Is it set to do something automatically?

Can I stop it doing it?

You can set them to shut down after a certain time - mine closes down after an hour.

PS don't they get hot if you leave them on all the time? I shut mine down anyway, every time I've finished with it.
