My sister is with Orange BB and phone calls (eves/wkend free) but has line rental with BT, she has never had problems with Orange. They have phoned to ask if she would consider changing line rental to them and with her orange PAYG mobile they can also reduce her BB monthly rental. She is interested but nervous about changing line rental in case of any repair problems. Has anyone any experience good or bad of Orange and their BB, line rental with evening/weekend call package please so that I can pass the info on. Many thanks.

Anyone?
No, but I guess they are probably much of a muchness, if the price is right and all that. Phoned you eh ? Maybe being overcautious but I prefer to contact the company rather than vice versa. Never know who is calling you and whether they are who they say.

Thank you OG, bit of what I thought really...just wanted to know if someone had experience of going with Orange and their complete package. Thanks for your thoughts though.
I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago - I had my line rental with BT and my broadband with Orange. Started getting hassle off BT over something and nothing and did not like their attitude so I phoned Orange and switched my line rental to them. Have had the total package with Orange since and never had any trouble whatsoever, in fact I recently advised my parents to switch to them as well as they were very unhappy with BT (they had taken some money from their account when they should not have and were generally mucking them around), the switch over went very smoothly and they are very happy with the service.

I was told that it did not count that I had a PAYG mobile with them, it had to be one on a contract to apply for the discount.

I would definitely get in touch with them to switch (rather than them phoning you).
