what is the easiest method of wiping a dard drive clean ,can it be done without a disc ??

I would get a floppy disk and make it bootable (get one here: http://www.bootdisk.com/ ) then put maxllf.exe on it (from here: http://www.ameriwebs.net/groupworks/index.html ) then run it (it is a low-level format and will wipe it cleaner than a very clean thing)
