can someone teme where recycled stuff goes when you empty the recycle bin..if its still lurking in computer somewhere,how,or indeed if you can clear it out.

When you empty the recycle bin the computer system removes the bits of code which relate to where the actual file can be found on the hard drive, consequently the removed files will eventually be written over as you make more new files/programs, etc. in the future.

When you delete any folder or image from the recycle bin, it will not delete permanently from your computer either it is deleted by a Trojan. Files and folders are never completely deleted it stays in the hard drive but the file name is deleted. When the system needs “free space” then this deleted file is used to occupy and the file might be over written.

If you have deleted the data from the recycle bin or clear the recycle bin then you won’t be able to get them back by any method.

That's not correct Jessica. You can get software which recovers files.
