I set up our old megadrive on our lcd tv. The only lead out of it is an RF cable. However I am only getting a picture but no sound. I set it up on an analogue tv and it works fine. Is there any way to get the sound working on the lcd tv?

Wow... blast from the past!

If the RF cable has a box inline with it then check to see if it has a little switch on the box (labeled I and G If I remember my PAL systems correctly)... if it has flick the switch.

Chuck the Megadrive 2 had that but the Mega drive one is just a straight lead. Regardless, as I say, it works fine of the old 21" analogue TV but not on the 32" LCD, all picture no sound.

I'm thinking it must be some sort of audio setting on the actual lcd tv's settings.
