Computer Clock
21 Answers
Hi, can anyone help me.
Anytime I logg off from my pc, the clock keeps resetting back to 2007 and I have to keep updating it. I do press OK, once I have done this, but it still returns to a date in 2007 and is very annoying. Is there anything else I should be doing.
Please help.

Strictly speaking, it would (used to be) the CMOS battery, the BIOS wouldn't need a battery to retain it's settings.

Jeez! talk about making a mountain out of a molehill! needing an "engineers manual" to replace a CMOS battery!! what the hell!

If it's a desktop it's a simple matter to fix, why try and make it sound harder than it is.
