after thinking long and hard i may move my sky,broadband and phone to virgin. its cheaper and faster. however it appears i cant take my isp,s supplied e mail address with me. whats the best way to start up a new e mail address and inform around 100 people/companies. thanks.

Open a non-account based email account such as gmail, yahoomail, hotmail etc, do this before you switch providers. These email accounts can be accessed as long as you have a working internet connection.
Send people an general email circular from your new account asking them to note your new email address with immediate effect. Make sure you export all your contacts details from your old account before switching.
