I run a page for our business and have banned one particular female from the page.

It says that she is permanently banned, but just a matter of hours latter she reappears as liking the page.

Any ideas on how she is managing this?

I've reported it as a bug to FB, which frankly is a waste of time. I've trawled through the help section - which is a misnomer.

Could she be deactivating and reactivating her account? Would that clear any bans? I'm pretty sure she's not creating more and more profiles for herself.

So frustrating. Any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received!

Yes, as this may allow her to interact with the page in other ways - i.e. be abusive.

She really is a nasty piece of work and we have banned her from visiting the premises altogether.

I can't think why she would want to "like" the page other than to cause bother there too.

It looks like she can still "like" the page, but will not be able to comment etc - so bednobs approach may be correct, i.e. don't worry about it.

Be careful however that you're not being libeled elsewhere.

I wrongly assumed that if you had been banned from a page you couldn't view it.

I wonder if I block her from my own personal page, would that then block her from the business page as I'm the admin for it?

Does it matter that she can see it if she can't actually post anything on it?

I just wonder if it's worth going to the hassle of trying to stop her as if she's a bit nuts then there's nothing stopping finding other ways of looking at the page, assuming it's an open one.

I just wanted to stop her getting updates from the page really. I think I'll just keep removing her when she appears.

As you say Evian, she'll find a way to see the page anyway if she's that determined/demented.

Ummmm, sadly, yes I do know her. We run a livery yard on the farm and she used to have a horse here. She caused so much trouble when she was here and was kicked out because of it all.

I think everyone in a 50 mile radius is aware of her tit-like status, Evian!

I haven't spoken to anyone that has a good word for her. I don't want her to know that she's even an issue for us. Hoped FB actually meant banned when they said it.

You ban folk from a business page, ummmm. But according to Ed's answer ^^, they can still see the page but not comment on it. I'd have preferred it if she couldn't see it at all - help protect our other clients from her seeing what's happening here.
