Acer laptop wifi

Hi everyone

ive got a Acer 5535/5235 laptop and my WI-FI is not working on it. Its got a button on the laptop to access wi-fi pressed the button so it flashes but still not connecting. I have wi-fi in the house on other laptops and working fine so its something to do with the laptop. Ive put the yellow lead from the Router to the laptop and it works fine. Any ideas please

what available networks can you see in your connection manager? the one with your wifi box code and password must not be signed in properly, re-enter your code and the password

dotty i have been using it as wi-fi worked yesterday but today cant connect to wi-fi

so have you looked to see that your router code is selected first on the available network list and that you have entered the passcode?

My Samsung did excatly the same thing this morning. All other wifi machines would connect but the Samsung wasn't even picking mine up only the neighbours. I rebooted and all was fine.

Yorkylass i turned off my laptop and started it again and it was still the same
