TV recorder

My freeview box with a hard drive has given up the ghost so I need something to record programmes on now.
My new TV has built-in freeview so I just need a basic recorder, can anyone recommend one please?

If you go with Sipowicz suggestion, the box is free but you pay for installation (about £50) and then you pay monthly I believe.
If you go with ChuckFickens suggestion here is a link to the type of Humax you might like. They're not cheap but there is no installation cost and no monthly fee

I said 'then you pay monthly I believe.' as when I looked into getting one myself I thought I read you have to pay £14.50 extra a month for it.
Are you saying that if you are already with TalkTalk (as I am)you don't have to pay extra each month, just the installation cost? if that's the case I might get one myself.
