Ebay have removed one of my listings because they said it is not allowed and the reason given was "used cosmetics" that does not make any sense at all, it was a jewellery box (empty branded ) and there are several similar ones , some of which sold for more that £5, that is why I thought I could sell mine, there were 7 people watching it.I asked them why but the only reply I got was that it was a breach of policy
anyone else had this trouble?
I don,t know where the cosmetics part comes from, maybe someone reported me and they gave that as the reason/excuse, I have looked at the other items again and they are still there
You can contact them, follyfancier on 0845 355 3229. It does seem strange, the only time I had an item removed was an airgun, because it came under weapons.
Oh and what a stupid smart ass reply, chuckfickens, uncalled for.
I listed a Christies auction catalogue once for a Moorcroft auction.
Had a few of them and they seem to sell.
My listing was removed because it was not a Moorcroft product ???
errrr Yes ...it's a Christies auction catalogue.
Tried calling ebay and the robot sat in a third world country would not budge.
Re-listed it and it went under the radar next time.
Ebay are a law unto themselves- I sell a lot on there and one of my fantasies is taking over the world and dropping a big nuclear warhead on Ebay head office, total load of t0ssers ;-)
it is just a very small box about the same size as a ring box,the name of the jewellery maker is embossed on the top of the box filling most of the space
