My wife is hankering after an iPad to help manage the digital photos she has stored on a NAS (networked storage device) in our house

I'm assuming VIEWING the networked photos will be a breeze but is it possible to delete them from the NAS as well?

Is it possible natively with the iPad or is there an app we can get?

Many thanks

Actually you can't (in general) access shared storage from the ipad except for Google drive/Dropbox etc. you get pictures onto the ipad either by loading them from a camera/SD card via the connection kit or you tell iTunes which photo libraries to sync to the ipad. There are a few get arounds but they mostly involve the ipad remoting on to a machine which does have full access to the NAS. If your NAS has a web server then of course you'd be able to access it from the ipad via Safari.

Well, my iPod Touch has a couple of apps that let me browse NAS files across my home network, but read-only

I was hoping there's be something similar that also allowed delete access!
