Windows 8 Where Are The Square Brackets?

Cannot find the square brackets on my Spanish keyboard sony vaio as can't find accessories or character map, so cannot write in italics, any help would be welcome! Thanks.

can't copy and paste either, jeesus!
go into the control panel and change the keyboard settings to english
Errrm... windows 8 doesn't change the keyboard mapping at all, if you have the same language setting as a previous version of windows they'll be in the same place.

Check your regional and language settings.

sounds like a Spanish austerity measure to me, they're trying to rescue the euro by demanding that everyone cut down on brackets and restrict themselves to Roman type. We're all in this together.

Can't change the language ccos that makes the spanish keyboard ie ñ ºª all to pot and the numbers go strange! Bl**dy xmas presents!!
