I've been a Norton girl for some years but I have decided not to renew this time.
I'm going with MSE instead. I'm not worried about the money really but it does seem silly to pay when there are free options available.
Can you all just reassure me that MSE is a good choice and let me know if there is anything else I need as well?
Also....do I need to uninstall Norton or shall I just leave it when it expires? Can I download MSE while Norton is still on here?

Each year they want £65 to renew, yet the new customers can buy for £30. So I refuse the renewal and buy as a new customer and go searching for online offers just out of principle. I was busy doing this when they renewed me automatically on Boxing Day. I was angry but have managed to cancelled it today, and decided its time to investigate the options.
NB: You can't fully uninstall Norton via your computer's Control Panel. You need this:
