its taken me 3 months to get an isdn line installed for a new taxi firm ive started but the number I was allocated was rubbish so bt said that if I wait until its installed I can then apply for a renumber which would get me a better number that's easier to remember. Now there saying I can have a renumber but il just get another random number, is there anyway round this ? how does any business now get a decent number that is easy for customers to remember ??? thanks

Are you talking to BT Business Customer Service? if not, who?
I would imagine all the 'good numbers' have been taken. I used to work in BT number allocation and in those days the best way to get a good number was to give the sales rep a rather nice bottle of whisky.............sadly those days are long gone.
